General Provisions
This privacy policy governs the principles of collecting, processing, and storing personal data. The collection, processing, and storage of personal data are carried out by the responsible party — LIB OÜ (hereinafter referred to as the data controller).
The data subject, within the framework of this privacy policy, is a client or any other natural person whose personal data is processed by the data controller.
A client is any person who purchases goods or services on the data controller’s website.
The data controller complies with the legally established principles of personal data processing, including lawful, fair, and secure processing. The controller can confirm that personal data is processed in accordance with applicable laws.
Collection, Processing, and Storage of Personal Data
The personal data collected, processed, and stored by the controller is gathered electronically, primarily through the website and email.
By submitting their personal data, the data subject grants the controller the right to collect, systematize, use, and manage such data for purposes defined in this privacy policy, including in cases of purchasing goods or services on the website.
The data subject is responsible for the accuracy, correctness, and completeness of the provided data. Intentional submission of false information is considered a violation of this privacy policy. The subject must promptly notify the controller of any changes to the provided data.
The controller is not responsible for any damages caused to the data subject or third parties due to the submission of inaccurate information.
Processing of Clients’ Personal Data
The controller may process the following personal data of the data subject:

- Date of birth;
- Phone number;
- Email address;
- Delivery address;
- Bank account number;
In addition, the controller has the right to collect data about the client available in public registers.
The legal basis for processing personal data is Article 6(1)(a), (b), (c), and (f) of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR):
a) the data subject has given consent to the processing of their personal data for one or more specific purposes;
b) processing is necessary for the performance of a contract to which the data subject is a party, or to take steps at the request of the data subject prior to entering into a contract;
c) processing is necessary for compliance with a legal obligation to which the controller is subject;
f) processing is necessary for the purposes of the legitimate interests pursued by the controller or a third party, except where such interests are overridden by the interests or fundamental rights and freedoms of the data subject, particularly where the data subject is a child.
Processing of Personal Data in Accordance with Purpose
We collect and store personal data:
- for the period necessary to fulfill all rights and obligations under the sales contract;
- for one year after the end of the warranty period to resolve potential disputes;
- for the period required by law for accounting document retention (for example, Lib OÜ invoices are stored for 10 years from the date of issue);
- consent to product availability notifications is valid until the information is sent, but not longer than one year or until consent is withdrawn;
- consent to receive marketing offers is valid for four years or until withdrawn.
In other cases, the data processing period is determined by the purpose of processing or established by data protection legislation.
The controller has the right to transfer clients’ personal data to third parties — authorized data processors, accountants, transport and courier companies, and payment institutions. For payment processing, the controller transfers necessary data to the authorized processor Maksekeskus AS.
When processing and storing personal data, the controller applies organizational and technical measures that ensure the protection of data from accidental or unlawful destruction, alteration, disclosure, or other unauthorized processing.
Rights of the Data Subject
The data subject has the right to access and review their personal data.
The data subject has the right to obtain information regarding the processing of their personal data.
The data subject has the right to supplement or correct inaccurate data.
If data processing is based on consent, the data subject has the right to withdraw their consent at any time.

The data subject also has the right to lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Inspectorate.
Final Provisions
These data processing terms are prepared in accordance with Regulation (EU) No 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council (General Data Protection Regulation — GDPR), the Estonian Personal Data Protection Act, and other applicable Estonian and EU legislation.
The controller has the right to partially or fully amend the terms of this privacy policy, notifying data subjects of such changes via the website https://libplanet.com.
